autocad built-in template info
one to which I don't know the answer, but I wish I did. You are probably aware that Autocad defaults to IMPERIAL based templates. Most of the METRIC ones have ISO as a suffix, although a few of them may use METRIC too. If it says ISO though, it is METRIC. The easiest and most definitive way to determine beyond all doubt what type of template you are using (meaning Imperial or Metric database units), is using the -DWGUNITS command. When using it, one should hit F2 in order to open the commandline text window, the better to understand all available options in the command.
